Description: This project draws on the mid century architecture of the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley area for inspiration. This project is located adjacent to City Hall so we chose to use an origami like form to fold and wrap to create a stage and project into the sky creating a functional monument for Cathedral City and it’s creative community. The building is a simple stage with a masked back of house entrance area and a small storage and utility room on the back.
